Membership Terms and Conditions 2026

By taking out membership from 2nd January of the year of purchase you accept these terms and conditions of use:

  1. Irrespective of date of purchase, individual membership expires 24th December of the year of purchase. There are no refunds if you terminate membership prior to expiry.
  2. Individual membership is not transferable.
  3. Membership applies for individuals 3 years and over.
    • 3.1. IMPORTANT: If any child/children of an individual member turns 3 during the term of the membership a ticket MUST be purchased to allow their entry
  4. Name and date of birth of individual, email, contact phone number and photograph of individual are required to fulfil the terms and conditions of taking out membership. If completing on behalf of a child (3-15 years) you will be asked to confirm you are signing up on their behalf and provide your email and contact phone number. We are unable to process a membership and/or issue a membership card without a photograph of each member.
  5. Washbrooks will take the photo on site of an individual which will be used on the card as proof of identification (ID) and a copy will be kept on file. The membership is not valid until a photo has been taken.
  6. A valid photo ID individual membership card admits the named individual only to the farm during opening hours.
    • 6.1. The individual membership card is for the named individual only
    • 6.2. As a member you must bring your individual membership card with you to receive FREE ENTRY
    • 6.3. Misuse, regardless of reason, will result in the individual membership card being revoked without refund
  7. The valid photo ID individual membership card entitles the named individual free entry, any day Washbrooks is open. If there are special events or special attractions extra charges will apply.
  8. Failure to show your valid photo ID individual membership card will result in admission being charged (which is non-refundable) at the daily ticket price.
  9. A replacement photo ID individual membership card, whether lost or stolen, will only be issued subject to verification of identity
    • 9.1. An administration charge of £5 applies
    • 9.2. Clause 8 will apply until a replacement card is re-issued.
  10. If during a visit, after purchasing a daily admission ticket, you decide to purchase a membership, the FULL membership price will apply.
    • 10.1. No discount will be offered in exchange for the ticket already purchased.
    • 10.2. No discount for the over 60’s
    • 10.3. No discount for membership taken later in the calendar year of membership. The customer has to decide if it is worthwhile having a part calendar year membership.
  11. Disabled individuals will be charged at the individual membership rate. The disabled individual will be issued with a photo ID individual membership card as per clauses 4 and 5.
    • 11.1 To validate the membership the individual’s DLA/PIP letter dated within the last 2 years MUST be shown to the member of Washbrooks staff facilitating the membership application.
      • 11.1.1. This will be noted on the membership application form and on the photo ID individual membership card.
    • 11.2. By doing this, the individual member’s carer becomes eligible for free entry
      • 11.2.1. Please note only ONE carer per individual.
      • 11.2.2. Carers must be 16 years or over
      • 11.2.3. A carer cannot use the card without the disabled individual member being present.
      • 11.2.4 Cards are NOT issued for carers.
  12. If attending a birthday party, the individual member must bring their valid photo ID individual membership card to allow entry. Please note the photo ID individual membership card is solely for use of the individual member. As per clause 2 membership is not transferable.
  13. Children 15 years and under must be accompanied by a person aged 16 years or over.
  14. A valid photo ID individual membership card may not be accepted in conjunction with promotional offers/vouchers.
  15. Admission to Washbrooks and use of facilities are subject to the published closing time of 5pm (except tearoom which closes at 4pm).
    • 15.1. On Christmas Eve the farm closes at 3pm (tearoom closes at 2pm) for the year.
    • 15.2. The farm re-opens at 9:30-am on 2nd January.
  16. Under normal circumstances Washbrooks is open 357 days a year, but if forced to close due to circumstances beyond its control, individual membership cannot be extended or refunded.
  17. Washbrooks is continually replacing and/or improving facilities and introducing new ones. In line with this, we reserve the right to withdraw or introduce charges, to amend or discount attractions & opening times at any given time without prior notice or compensation.
  18. Washbrooks are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
  19. Washbrooks will keep your details on file under the regulations of the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not give to third parties. The Data Protection Act was replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25th May 2018.
  20. Our privacy policy can be found on our website www.washbrooks.co.uk.
  21. Only food and drinks purchased at Washbrooks can be consumed in the tearoom. Outdoor areas and picnic benches are available to all visitors.
  22. Washbrooks reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of individual membership.
  23. Individual Membership price is subject to change.
  24. Washbrooks reserves the right to refuse renewal or withdraw individual membership at any time.
  25. Personal or verbal abuse of staff will not be tolerated and Washbrooks reserves the right to refuse admission and revoke individual membership(s).
  26. Individual membership data is destroyed within 3 months of expiry date.
  27. A copy of the terms and conditions will be emailed to you on acceptance and agreement to the terms and conditions on the membership signup form.
  28. Changes to membership, special offers and marketing will be sent to our members using the email provided. Revised 22 December 2025
